Bet Bank Alerts is a sports betting tips service which sends out text message tips to your mobile phone. At the time of this review I have been following them for about 18 months and am in profit to the tune of around £1500 to modest £30 stakes. What attracted me to the service was the fact that it concentrates on value bets by targeting areas where bookmakers have “chinks” in their amour and often make ricks. The service is ran by a guy who clearly understands betting markets and goes under the name of “Mr. X” as he prefers to remain anonymous to the bookmakers that he used to work for. Whilst this Mr. X business sounds dodgy, once you start to see the type of bets that he identifies and you start to see them pay, it sounds anything but. As you are often betting in markets that the bookmakers have only just put up you have to be quick to snap up the prices. This is where the speed of receiving the tips via text helps. It also means that you don’t have to be at your computer all the time to avoid missing tips. Having said that some of the prices are not generally available and if you do not act quickly you could miss out on the value. This does not deter from the value of the service however, as I have made good profits from this service despite missing out on a significant no of tips. It is not a high maintenance service to follow either since the messages typically come though on Fridays and Saturdays only, although they can come at any time.
