A short while ago I joined a statistics service called PremerStats. They give arguably the most detailed analysis of every Premiership club. Enabling you to “match up” teams ratings against each other to find amazing value betting opportunities. The thing that makes it different is the analysis of things like their corner ratings, which used correctly can give you an easy edge against the bookmakers in one of their under researched markets. All areas are covered, for instance the “goal ratings” not only have total goals but “shots per goal” and “saves” ratings for both home and away, not to mention the percentage “over/under 2.5 goals” home and away. Not only do you get the full stats but you also get a full explanation of how to use them, so even if you are new to football betting you can still pick out value bets like a pro. You also get their own detailed analysis on selected matches each week with the best bets highlighted. You get all this for £37 a year, which to me is too low! They are also offering the service on a 28 day trial basis. It has really opened my eyes to the possibilities with betting in markets other than home/draw/away and I’ve already started picking my own profitable football bets. Check it out below whilst the season is in full swing.

With over 100 tipsters listed it is not easy to top the Racing-Index performance table. However the performance of my each way selections during the first half of September has enabled me to do exactly that. At the time of writing we’ve had 10 selections with 4 winners at 15/2, 4/1, 5/1 and 6/1 as well as horses placed at 10/1 and 6/1. To have a look at the proof check out the results click here

I had been looking to add a football betting advisory service to my personal betting portfolio for some time. Having tested one service for a period of 4 months only to end up hundreds of pounds down, obviously I had to be very picky.
That said the service I opted for was Inner Circle Football Betting Tips. Their trial subscription offer of only a little over £13 (or $24.95) helped make it an easy decision.
They obviously dont make any money at this price but it shows that they are very confident of members happily paying their standard rates after sampling the quality of the tips. I had heard nothing but good things about the service so I was confident that it would prove to be a profitable venture. That was five days ago now and I can report 100% success so far with a £227 profit already.
Upon signing up you will receive a report called “5 Traits of a Highly Successful Football Bettor” , which I recommend you read. (Unless you are already a highly successful football bettor!) Find out more by following the link below, please get in touch if you’d like to know my current progress, however I can vouch for the results published on the Inner Circle site to be correct. If you do subscribe let me know and I’ll send you over my results spreadsheet for easily keeping tabs on your profits.

Well, the world cup is over. The Italians celebrate and the English scratch their heads over how to win penalty competitions all over again. If you’d have taken my advice you’d have collected at 5/1 when I advised (on this blog) to back England to lose on penalties at any stage. Talking of winners I feel compelled to report the success of the Turftalk selections from Turfexpert this month. Having already notched up On the Outside, a 12/1 winner on the 5th, he then went on to give Dansili Dancer, a 10/1 winner on the 7th, and then yesterday topped both of those with Rudi’s pet, a 20/1 winner! This has put the Turftalk tips up a massive 33.5 pts this month to add to an already nice profit pot. You can subscribe to Turfexpert for as little as £47.50 a month and comes highly recommended.

A lot of people have said how much they liked my ebook “Easy Money from Losing Horses” and how they have had good success using the system, but that they aren’t always in a position to be able to find the system bets themsleves. A number requested to have the selections sent to them via email via the introduction of a subscription service.
So, I’m in the process of setting this up and in the meantime I have been proofing the selections via the Betting-School forum. Since the proofing started I have had 27 selections of which 22 have duly lost putting us well in front on the month.
The subscription service will be affordable for all and is expected in around 3 weeks time.
If you think you might be interested in subscribing please register your interest now by emailing me at laytips@bettingebooks.com
That’s all for now, but only to say COME ON ENGLAND! (Apologies to Scottish fans and the Rest of the World!) And leave you with this image to remind us of what normally happens at the Quarter final stage against Portugal.

My ebook “Easy Money from Losing Horses” has been online for a while now, so the big question is: How has it faired? I’ve been meticulously recording the lays to ensure that I have a record of the exact system selections and the prices that I took. The results have shown that this method of selecting favourites to lay produces consistent profits and an excellent strike rate over time.
Here are the profits you could have achieved using just £50 lay stakes, taking Betfair prices around midday, and with 5% commission already taken off.
Dec’05 £129.50
Jan’06 £520.00
Feb’06 £203.00
Mar’06 £32.50
April’06 £375.00
May’06 £292.00
Total £1552.00
The strike rate is over 71% which means that £50 stakes can be used with only a modest bank. For the big hitters amongst us profits would be much higher using £100 or £200 stakes.
You can get this system with the excellent bonus book “All Green” for just £49 all in.

Who will take the World Cup Golden Boot this summer? This looks a very interesting betting market to me and there could well be some good value in taking up an early ante-post bet. Whilst I certainly wouldn’t put anyone off taking either of Ronaldinho or Henry at 16/1 to grap the top dog boot, I do believe there could be some good each way shots further down the betting. I’ll be having a small interest in Luca Toni at 22/1 or
better e/w. The Italian centre forward has been banging them in all season long for Fiorentina with 28 to his name. As the Italians have typically relied on one goalscoring talisman to drag them through it could be Toni that fits the bill this time. The second longshot has to be Germany’s Michael Ballack. I believe the Germans are serious contenders for the World Cup. OK, so Ballack is their only real star player, but the strength of Germany has always been in team play - not individual strength. Anyway back to Ballack, 13 league goals this term backed up by an amazing international record of 30 goals in 63 appearances is good enough, add to that the kind draw which should give them plenty of scoring opportunities against Costa Rica and Ecuador and Ballack is great value at 50/1 e/w.

If you are looking for a bet on the World Cup this summer you could go with the flow of money and back England or Brazil in the outright market. However I believe backing England to go out on penalties at 5/1 (with Paddypower.com) makes much more sense. Now before you bite my head off for taking on such a negative bet (from an England fans standpoint), consider the facts: Since 1990 England have qualified for 7 major tournaments, on 4 occasions being knocked out on penalties. By Germany in 1990 world cup semi-final, Germany again in 1996 European Champs semi-final, Argentina in 1998 World Cup 2nd round and Portugal in the 2004 European Champs quarter final. Add to that the fact that England are again unlikely to take a scientific approach to penalty competitions and the odds look quite attractive. For England fans it may also provide a financial consolation to the pain of going out on penalties yet again!
