(FCG) by John Duncan, is a well written, comprehensive manual which shows in precise detail how John has used system to produce garanteed profit opportunties from the live betting markets on Betfair. This is a 98 page manual and will take a little while to read and digest. John does a good job of getting across what could be described as a reasonably complex system. He does this by using real life examles of the system in action and there are many of these included in the ebook. I have no doubt that John has made lots of money in exactly the method he describes.
So, does the FCG work? Well, yes it does, and my own trials showed that it wasn't to hard to operate. However there are some drawbacks and "grey" areas. Firstly is the price issue, the system relies on Betfair prices behaving normally during the course of a football match. Now, if you have a big glut of people all following the same strategy and hence chasing the same prices they are going to be disappointed. Having said that since the FCG was originally released I've no doubt that many people will simply have abandoned the strategy or moved on, making it more profitable once more.

As with most things in life you often need to put in a little bit extra effort than the rest to obtain an edge. I would certainly recommend the FCG as a starting point but bear in mind that with betting, generally speaking ,you need to be operating in a manner contrary to the majority in order to profit. If you take a little more time and do some research into the individual matches you are sure to make things earsier for yourself. Here are some top tips for FCG and general football betting:
Become an expert on the match in question. In around 10 minutes you can gather a wealth of information about the match. Doing this will give you an edge over most punters, especially those using FCG without doing any research. Use the following sites to obtain statistics.
www.soccerstats.com
www.soccerbase.com
www.sportpress.com (click statistics button)
As well as a match overview with team news, which you could find in your daily newspaper or via www.sportinglife.com, you should consider the following stats in particular when you are using FCG or correct score betting:
> Average no. of goals home team has scored over last 6 home league games.
> Average no. of goals away team has scored over last 6 away league games.
Do the above again for goals conceeded.(Sportpress is good for these) This will give you a a good idea as to level of goals that has been flowing. Dont ignore the head to head stats either though.(soccerbase is good for these). For example Derby games can throw up a lot of draws!
